Jean Monnet Chair: DIMENSIONS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION'S VALUES

The Chair DIMENSIONS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION’S VALUES (DIMENSIONS) aims to promote the European way of life, a stronger Europe in the World, a new push for European democracy, which corresponds to three of the six priorities defined by the Commission for the 2019-2024.
The DIMENSIONS project intends to analyse and divulge the values enshrined in the Article 2 of the Treaty on European Union, namely, respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the Rule of Law and respect for human rights, including the rights of people belonging to minorities.
To accomplish this general goal, this chair will have 2 big areas: research and teaching.
The research will be carried out by the entire team, which is made up of experienced higher education teachers focused on producing communications and scientific articles on the referenced theme.
The teaching will essentially be the responsibility of the chair coordinator with the support of the team. Teaching activities correspond to a existing course and 2 new course.
