The present project aims at creating the Module “Practical dilemmas and legal analysis of the area of freedom, security and justice in Europe” (FRESE) seeking to promote the European way of life through upholding the rule of law in the field of judicial cooperation.
The FRESE Module will foster learning through 3 courses:
The first course by the name “The consolidation Area of freedom, security and justice”, presents itself with an innovative feature and takes place over 32 hours.
The second course, “Practical Aspects of International Cooperation in the European Union”, with a duration of 24 hours, customized for this project, where the focus will be on the jurisprudential analysis of themes involving the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (AFSJ).
The third course represents a curricular unit that already exists in the master’s degree course in Public Administration “” Public Procurement “, with a 30 hours.
Thus, prioritizing the target groups defined in the call, as it intends to promote knowledge about the European Union from a legal perspective to higher education students who do not have direct contact with EU studies, namely graduates from foreign universities (Portuguese-speaking countries that are not members of the EU). And Higher education students of European Union Studies
Therefore, the FRESE Module ensures that the research will be conducted by a team of experienced higher education teachers with the intention to produce scientific papers and articles.
