The integration of European policies into the Iberian space in a procedural context: national, Iberian and international perspectives

This research is based on three fundamental areas of investigation:

  1. collective proceedings, with the aim of analysing how the European Directive in this area has been transposed in both countries and comparing it with the system in force in Brazil;
  2. online dispute resolution, with the aim of examining developments in digital Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platforms, given the recent approval of the European AI Regulation;
  3. and the provision of mechanisms applicable to vulnerable people in terms of judicial and extrajudicial dispute resolution.

These three areas are the subject of relevant European policies that directly impact the lives of citizens and have been the subject of legal developments whose effects and impact should be analysed.
