Revista Jurídica Portucalense (RJP) is an open-access, free-to-publish biannual journal dedicated to reflection, research, and knowledge dissemination in all areas of legal scholarship. RJP’s mission is the diffusion of scientific knowledge in the area of Legal Sciences, through the publication of original legal research articles of the highest quality. It is also a vehicle for reflection and debate about all sorts of legal problems, from a theoretical and practical perspective, by publishing articles of scientific opinion and descriptive articles of practical experiences. RJP has been indexed in Scopus, since 2019, and as of April 2025, it is classified in the Q1 quartile in the categories of Law, Political Science and International Relations, and Sociology and Political Science. It has also been indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection/ESCI since 2020, where it holds a Q3 position in the Law category.
