The INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS – INTEGRATION IN THE IBERIAN SPACE OF EUROPEAN POLICIES: LUSO-HISPANIC AND INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVES IN A PROCEDURAL CONTEXT – will be held on 17 and 18 September 2024, with the aim of promoting reflection in three fundamental areas of research:
- Collective proceedings, with the aim of addressing how the European Directive in this area has been transposed into Portugal and Spain, comparing it with the system in force internationally;
- Online dispute resolution, in order to examine developments in digital Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platforms, given the recent approval of the European AI Regulation; and
- The participation of vulnerable people in judicial and extrajudicial dispute resolution.
The mission of this Congress is to bring together researchers and professionals from the Iberian and international scene who, through their scientific studies and practical experiences, can contribute to analysing the impact on the Iberian space of European procedural policies in the three study areas of the IBEROPROCELAW project.
