Lurdes Varregoso Mesquita, a researcher at the Portucalense Legal Institute (IJP) and coordinator of the Research Group on Procedural Law, was recently invited to join the Editorial Board of Access to Justice in Eastern Europe (AJEE), a leading international journal in the field of law, dedicated to promoting justice, human rights, and access to justice.
Currently under the coordination of Iryna Izarova (Editor-in-Chief, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv)—who has also been a collaborating member of the IJP since 2024—AJEE is indexed in renowned databases such as the Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus (Q2 in Law) and is an open-access publication.
This collaboration with AJEE represents a significant step toward the internationalization of the IJP and reinforces its commitment to global legal discourse.
