3rd Edition of the International Symposium on Human Rights and Citizenship (III SIDHC)
On June 18 and 19, the 3rd Edition of the International Symposium on Human Rights and Citizenship (III SIDHC) took place at Universidade Portucalense. This initiative was developed במסגרת the partnership between the Portucalense Legal Institute (IJP) and Universidade Salvador (UNIFACS, Brazil).
Dedicated to the theme “Structural Inequalities and Systematic Violations of Human Rights”, this edition’s programme featured keynote lectures, roundtables, thematic panels, and sessions for the presentation of scientific papers, with the participation of experts from academia and the justice system, coming from Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, and Spain.
Held in a hybrid format, the III SIDHC enabled broad national and international participation, establishing itself as a space for scientific dialogue and for the development of cooperative networks devoted to the study of human rights in their multiple dimensions (including gender, environmental, children’s rights, governance, among others).
